We had a surprise 'super hero' activity for the girls yesterday. The girls dressed up as super heroes and had lots of fun, heroic adventures. First the girls had to come up with a super hero name. Josie chose 'Super Africa' (they have been learning about different countries and Josie has been calling herself Africa lately..lol..) and Addi chose 'Super Grover' (Addi says it as 'sssuuuupppppeeer Grrroovvveerrrr' ..lol..). Once names had been established, it was time to choose a super hero outfit... consisting of rubber gloves, sunglasses, capes, ugboots, wands and crowns.
We gave them activities to complete - 'Super Star Jumps', walk the tightrope, build a super hero house / castle / cave and use their super powers to capture the witches (myself and KJ)
It was alot of fun, we were all pooped by the end of the morning, so we decided we needed a big healthy super hero lunch at Hogs Breath Cafe ... the girls had heaps of fun ... and so did we :)

Awesome idea guys, the girls look pretty super, I'd be terrified of that witch grabbing my cape if I was Josie, lol!!
We would have posted pics of our weekend but us nearly dead amidst Balin's incessant pleas for someone to play with him just wouldn't have looked as good :)

PS: There's Hogsbreath opening up our way soon so maybe the villains could lure the little super heroes out this far for lunch some time?
Wow I think they look super terrific. Yummy my 4 are hogs breath fans too.
